ELSS PROJECT

The Association is actively working with licensed professionals to ensure compliance with all applicable requirements.
The building is currently in the process of implementing an Engineered Life Safety System (ELSS) in accordance with the Florida Fire Prevention Code.
An ELSS is designed to enhance life safety within the building and may include systems such as smoke detection, smoke control, and other safety improvements as an alternative to full sprinkler installation.
The State of Florida has established the following compliance timeline:
January 1, 2025: Engineering study and system design - PASS
January 1, 2026: Permits obtained for installation - PASS
January 1, 2027: Project completion and final approval
January 1, 2026: Permits obtained for installation - PASS
January 1, 2027: Project completion and final approval
